HR Assistant Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team in managing administrative tasks and employee services effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including processing documents, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and maintaining applicant tracking systems.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientations, and collecting exit documentation.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems and ensure data accuracy.
- Assist with payroll processes, benefits enrollment, and employee inquiries as needed.
- Collaborate with the HR team to foster employee engagement through events, programs, and communications.
- Support compliance with labor laws and regulations, including documentation and reporting as required by federal, state, and local guidelines.
- Handle general HR-related administrative tasks and provide support for special projects as directed by the HR team.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR or a related field.Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with HRIS software (preferred).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.Preferred Qualities
