The Role

Youll lead procurement for EV conversion builds, ensuring that parts, materials, and services are sourced on time, at the right cost, and with the right quality. This role requires strong vendor management skills, cross-functional collaboration, and an eye for cost savings without sacrificing performance. Youll work closely with engineering, contractors, project management, and accounting to support smooth builds and timely deliveries.

What Youll Lead

Vendor management : Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Procurement operations : Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, components, and services.
Cross-functional alignment : Partner with engineering and project teams to ensure materials meet technical requirements.
Inventory oversight : Track stock levels, lead times, and order status; prevent shortages or delays.
Cost control : Manage budgets, seek cost savings, and balance trade-offs between cost, quality, and schedule.
Accounting interface : Process purchase orders, invoices, and contracts; ensure accuracy and compliance.

Must-Haves

Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

35 years of purchasing / procurement experience in automotive, manufacturing, or similar environments.

Strong vendor negotiation and contract management skills.

Proven track record in cost management and supplier performance.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Familiarity with ERP or purchasing systems.

Nice-to-Haves (Not Required)

Automotive or EV supply chain experience.

Knowledge of ISO / quality standards in procurement.

Exposure to inventory optimization tools or strategies.
