Lead Access Control / CCTV Technician

Responsibilities

• Pulling, terminating, dressing, testing, and labeling CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, and Fiber data cables
• Installing and terminating racks, cable trays, patch panels, cabinets, MDF / IDF, workstation outlets etc
• Reading and interpreting general system layouts from blueprints
• Installing devices including camera / CCTV systems, access control, and audio-visual Qualifications
• Neat appearance and professional demeanor
• Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers for common goals
• Organized and detailed
• Experience with the following or like manufacturers is preferred….DoorKing, LiftMaster, DSX, HySecurity, ICRealtime, Magnetic, Amano, HID, AWID, etc
• Team player
• Ability to learn and desire for continuing training and education
• Ability to work on your feet in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Clean driving record
• Must pass a drug screening Responsibilities
• Hours : M-F 8AM-5PM plus overtime as needed
• Travel to customer sites within our territory to asses and service existing automated gate systems, access control systems, camera systems, and other low-voltage systems
• This position covers all aspects of the systems we service
