Pittsburgh Office Manager
Direct the Pittsburgh office in accordance with company policies and operating procedures. Manage employees in the office including their performance, training, utilization, time sheets, etc. Identifying and pursuing new opportunities, including new markets, customer segments, and partnerships. Prepare, review, and approve cost estimates / proposals. Oversee office projects to ensure execution of deliverables per client requirements. Hire and oversee the onboarding of new employees. Manage intake of projects within the office and distribution of workload to office employees. Participate and support planning, development, and growth of the office relative to staff, structure, and profitability. Approve office purchases. Participate in approved continuing education to enhance job-related skillset. Work on special projects as requested and all other duties as assigned which may vary depending on season, workload, and the needs of the Company and our clients.
Skills : Construction Inspection, Materials Testing, Project Planning, E.I.T. Additional Skills & Qualifications : BS degree in Civil Engineering. MS in Civil Engineering preferred. P.E. registration or ability to obtain. Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. Strong technical writing and communication skills. Previous leadership experience. Excellent oral communication skills are required. Must be able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a timely fashion. Driver's License and the ability to safely navigate construction sites. Ability to pass background checks for entry to military facilities. Ability to work outside, work independently, and be a self-starter. Ability to travel to construction project sites and maneuver over rough and uneven terrain. Lift up to 50 lbs. from a standing, crouched, or kneeling position. Lift equipment, buckets, or tools on uneven terrain periodically. Carry up to 50 lbs. in the form of sample bags, buckets, and equipment. Walk and carry sample bags / buckets, tools on construction sites, gravel pits, open fields, and / or uneven terrain periodically. Able to sit, type, and perform computer work for long periods of time. Frequent use of hands / fingers for computer entry.

Job Type & Location : This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.
Pay and Benefits : The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $72.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
