Respiratory Therapist

Salary : $24.00 - $36.00 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assess patient lung capacity and analyze blood samples using a gas analyzer.
- Administer and evaluate respiratory therapies according to the care plan.
- Monitor and document patient conditions, ensuring effective communication with healthcare teams.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations, providing life-saving treatments as necessary.
- Conduct patient and family education on respiratory health, treatment plans, and available community resources.
- Maintain and sterilize respiratory therapy equipment and ensure proper stock levels of medical supplies.
Minimum Position Qualifications :
Active Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care License.Graduation from an accredited CRT or RRT program.Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.Must obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within 60 days of hire.Must obtain Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification within 90 days of hire.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in a critical care setting.Previous experience in a hospital environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare teams.Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-stress environment.Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards.Skills :
