Overview : We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in NY / NJ. Projects will be in Brooklyn and the Bronx.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Field oversight of geotechnical drilling (SPTs / CPTs / Rock Coring / Test Pits).
• Field oversight of deep foundation installation (Driven Piles / Caissons / Micropiles / Helical Piles).
• Detailed Caisson Inspection (Utilizing underwater cameras and / or other techniques for structural integrity of rock and proper placement).
• Field oversight and monitoring of pile load tests.
• Field oversight of ground improvement techniques (Aggregate Piers / Compaction Grouting).
• Support of excavation inspection including tie-rod installation and testing.
• Field oversight of shallow foundation installation, sheeting / shoring.
• Field oversight of earthwork operations, subgrade preparation,
• Field oversight of soil stabilization / improvement techniques (lime / cement / geotextiles / geogrids).
• Underpinning inspections.

Compensation : $50 - $70 Hourly

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
