Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced

  • Case Manager III
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience required.

This is a FULL TIME / TEMP position requiring availability between the hours of 8 : 30AM-5 : 00PM, Monday through Friday (may have to work an occasional evening or weekend), located in Norfolk, VA (23513).

Responsibilities :

A Day in the life of a Case Manager III :

As a Service Coordinator you will provide service coordination / case management services to children, birth to three years of age, with developmental delays, diagnosed conditions or atypical development & their families by assessing, planning, linking, monitoring, and advocating for them in response to their changing needs. Completes clinical documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory guidelines. This position requires management of a number of competing work priorities in a time-restricted environment. Must be able to work with a challenging population, often from diverse backgrounds with a variety of physical, mental, and social needs. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including some evenings or weekends. Provides services in the community as well as in the client's home. This position requires the applicant to sit for extended periods of time, utilize a computer, drive a vehicle, operate various office equipment to include copiers, printers, fax machines (or electronic faxing). May be required to transport clients in a minivan or car and must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.

Requirements for the Service Coordinator - Case Manager III :

  • Required : 2+ years experience working with the infant to 3 year old ID population
  • Required : Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record according to the department of motor vehicles
  • Required : BLS
  • Required : Flexible schedule
  • Required : Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
  • Required : Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
  • Required : Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred Qualifications for the Service Coordinator - Case Manager III :

  • Preferred : Early Intervention Experience
