Manager Risk Management - Quality Assurance and Risk Management

Providence Healdsburg Hospital in Healdsburg, CA. This Full‑time position works 8‑hour day shifts.

The Manager of Risk Management supports activities that assess, measure, and plan to reduce risk, injury, and loss. Responsibilities include coordinating insurance programs with the Health System Risk & Insurance Department, supporting development, implementation, and effective functioning of PSJH PVH and HH risk‑management activities, and coordinating actions to reduce claims. The role also supports risk identification, data collection, analysis and reporting, and maintains policies that protect patient health information in compliance with federal and state laws. The Manager investigates patient care issues and builds collaborative relationships with all departments, the Director of Quality and Excellence, executive leadership, and medical staff.

Required Qualifications

• Certification by the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) within 2 years of hire.
• 5 years of experience in a hospital setting demonstrating increasing responsibility in leadership.
