POSITION TITLE : Speech Language Pathologist

SALARY RANGE : Teacher Contract

CONTRACT LENGTH : School Year

POSITION SUMMARY :

Speech Language Pathologist provides services to students with language and / or speech impairments in accordance with corporation policy and state and federal special education mandatory laws.

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR :

Building Administrator

Director of Special Education

DUTIES :

• Provide direct and / or consult services to students with speech and / or language impairments
• Conduct speech, language and hearing screenings and evaluations within mandated timelines and in accordance with state law and corporation procedures
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEP's)
• Collect Data on student progress toward goals / objectives
• Provide Quarterly progress reports on students on the caseload
• Complete ISTAR / KR or collaborate on the completion of ISTAR on students who require this assessment
• Maintain records / enter information for Medicaid reimbursement
• Consult with school staff and administrators regarding individual student needs
• Other duties as assigned
