The Platform Engineer will design, automate, and maintain cloud-based tooling that powers modern development environments. This person will play a key role in optimizing container workflows, improving CI / CD pipelines, and enhancing automation across the enterprise. Top Skills & Experience (3-5 Years Required)
- Python, Java, AWS - strong development and scripting experience
- Containerization expertise - understanding how to build container profiles, create images, and manage environments
- Experience with certificate chains - root certificates, intermediate certificates, keystores, and secure communication
- Familiarity with Sectigo certificates is a plus
- Hands-on experience with Automated Testing, CI / CD pipeline maintenance, and networking concepts
What You'll Be Doing
Build detailed reporting on container configurations, deployments, and usage across AWS environments.Collaborate with teammates to design and implement technology solutions that improve container-based development.Automate container image builds, updates, and best-practice implementations.Participate in technical decision-making and provide guidance on scalable implementation strategies.Self-Service & Automation
Develop and maintain self-service tooling for internal engineering teams.Drive automation initiatives to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.Provide technical expertise related to containerization, pipelines, and cloud-native workflows.What You Bring
Proven success designing, building, and supporting cloud-native platforms using AWS or other major cloud providers.Hands-on experience with GitHub, including using the GitHub API for reporting, automation, and managing pull requests.Strong background in building, testing, and deploying container images in scalable environments.Proficiency in Python, Java, Bash, or Groovy for automation and tooling.Strong working knowledge of AWS services, including deployments on Kubernetes, ECS, and EC2.Deep understanding of certificates, keystores, and networking required to enable secure system-to-system communication.Who Thrives Here
