As a Landscape Architect / Designer, you will build hands-on experience in active transportation, landscape architecture, urban design, or civil engineering through high-impact projects.
What are the core responsibilities for the role?
- Support Project Managers and Engineers with design tasks throughout all project phases—from conceptual design through construction
- Participate in all stages of project development, including bidding support and construction administration
- Perform drafting and design work in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with a focus on :
Sheet layout, dimensioning, and labeling
2D drafting and detailingAlignments, basic profiles, and grading with feature linesBasic exposure to corridors, assemblies, and pipe networksInterpret and integrate plans from multiple engineering and design disciplinesCreate and refine visual materials such as photo-renderings, concept sketches, and construction drawingsApply technical knowledge to solve both conventional and unconventional design challengesRead and interpret technical documents including drawings, maps, and design standardsManage and organize project files and data from various sourcesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, error-free workOccasionally travel to job sites to collect field data or assist with on-site tasksQualifications, Skills, and Competencies :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Urban Design, Planning, or a related field. Other degrees will be considered with relevant experience and skills1–3 years of experience in the engineering, planning, or landscape architecture industryHands-on involvement in projects through design, construction, and closeout phasesBonus : Hands-on experience in construction, fabrication, or related fieldsProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3DStrong technical design and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionWhy would a candidate want this job?
