Responsibilities

Assigns and sequences correct diagnostic and operative codes to accurately reflect each patient episode of care. Communicates with customers and / or health care professionals to gather personal, demographic, financial, insurance and equipment information required to complete registration for outpatient, inpatient or equipment services, medical records, and insurance certification, verification, and billing / claim submission.
