Job Title : Electrical Repair Technician

Location : Melbourne, FL (Onsite, not remote)

Shift : 9 : 30a to 6p (Mon to Fri)

Pay : $25.00 / hr (Full-time)

Required :

  • Currently reside in a commutable distance to Melbourne, FL
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • A minimum of two-years previous experience repairing electronics to the component-level.

    • Overview

    This is a depot repair technician role with a focus on large format display screens.

    Duties :

  • Soldering : Applying solder to metal components using various tools like soldering methods
  • Following Schematics and Instructions : Precisely following diagrams and schematics to ensure correct connections and assemblies.
  • Quality Control : Inspecting solder joints for defects and ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Repair and Rework : Addressing defects and repairing malfunctioning components.
  • Equipment Maintenance : Maintaining and calibrating soldering equipment and repair equipment
  • Documentation : Recording errors, production data, and other relevant information.
  • Workplace Maintenance : Keeping the workspace clean, organized, and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Operating Machinery : Operating and calibrating soldering machinery for large-scale production.
  • Troubleshooting : Identifying and resolving soldering issues or board level issues.
