Position Summary

The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the organizations month-end close activities daily accounting operations and compliance requirements. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records preparing key reconciliations supporting tax filings and ensuring adherence to established accounting policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Month-End Close & General Accounting

• Participate in month-end close activities by preparing and reconciling key balance sheet accounts including cash fixed assets and accounts receivable.
• Record daily activity related to cash customer payments and accounts receivable transactions.
• Assist with fixed asset accounting including additions disposals depreciation calculations and preparation of rollforward schedules.
• Analyze variances between actuals and budget and prepare commentary as needed.
