job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCurrent use of VB / VBScript or other scripting language Ability to read, write, and debug scripting code Actively performing QA test script creation, execution, debugging, reporting Strong hands-on SQL read, write, debug, execute queries Design and execute automated test plans Interpret and review system requirements Execute regression test cases Track QA metrics Collaborate in Agile environment for continuous quality improvement Bachelors degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field 6+ years experience as QA Automation Engineer Hands-on with UFT and / or : Proficiency in : VBScript JavaScript / Python / Ruby Strong SQL experience Excellent communication skills Strong collaboration capabilities, team player Test tools : Azure DevOps, TestRail, Jira, ServiceNow Testing methodologies : Regression, Unit, Integration, System, Blackbox Agile / Scrum experience Knowledge of Commercial Gas Transmission Pipeline Systems Experience with Azure cloud Self-driven, analytical, detail-oriented Ability to manage multiple tasks, tight deadlines Strong documentation and problem-solving skills Solid SDLC understanding Type : Contract Length : 12 months Hours : 8 hrs / day Interview Process : TBD Background Check : Yes Relocation : No Non-local candidates : Allowed, must relocate at own cost Strong hands-on automation Active scripting experience Strong SQL Excellent communication Recent, relevant experience (not from 35 yrs ago) Are you currently writing and debugging scripts? Role : Quality Assurance Specialist
Location : Houston, TX (Energy Corridor 915 N. Eldridge Parkway, Suite 1100)
Work Model : Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Duration : 12 months
Visa : No H1B candidates
Start Date : ASAP
Experience : 5 years
