• This position willwork with a double board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in thecare of the hand, wrist and elbow at our Greenwood and Center Grove, Indianalocations. This Private APP role is clinic-based with the possibility of assisting in the OR on Tuesdays (see schedule below).

PrivateAPP Schedule : Clinic each day, Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 am -5 : 00 pm. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at Greenwood clinic and Wednesdays at Center Grove clinic.

Mondays - Greenwood clinic with Physician

Tuesdays - Greenwood clinic solo while Physician is in surgery at same location (with the possibility of assisting in the OR)

Wednesdays - Center Grove clinic (morning with Physician; solo in the afternoon)

Thursdays - Greenwood clinic with Physician

Friday - Greenwood clinic solo

General Statement of Duties :

Allclinical care provided by the Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner orPhysician Assistant) will be within the scope of the duties assigned by thesupervising OrthoIndy Physician. The supervising Physician must be eitherphysically present or immediately available for consultation when services areproved by the Advanced Practice Provider, including care provided usingprotocols, guidelines, and / or standing order. When the supervising Physician isunavailable, they may designate another Physician who has agreed to temporarilybe responsible for the supervision.
