Structural Engineer

Job Title : Structural Engineer Location : Naperville, IL (On-Site) Employment Type : Full-Time About the Role The client is seeking a Structural Engineer with 2–10 years of experience to join our team. This is a hands-on role involving design, technical analysis, and project coordination across a variety of building and infrastructure projects. The engineer will collaborate with architects, contractors, and project teams to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective structural solutions. Key Responsibilities Perform structural analysis, design, and calculations for buildings and structures Prepare drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for assigned projects Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction administration support Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors on project delivery Support the full project lifecycle, from proposals through construction completion Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field) Proficiency in AutoCAD and / or Revit Strong background in structural design and evaluation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage tasks independently and work collaboratively within a team Preferred Qualifications Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) or working toward licensure Experience preparing design packages for commercial, industrial, or institutional projects Prior field experience conducting structural inspections
