Operations Technician

Operations Technician Type : Contract-to-Hire Location : Mesa, AZ Work Setting : Hybrid Overview We are assisting a client with their search for an Operations Technician to join a 24 / 7 / 365 technical support and monitoring team providing remote oversight of roadside monitoring and enforcement systems across the United States and parts of Canada. This position ensures enforcement sites remain operational, troubleshoots technical issues, and keeps roadside network devices performing at peak efficiency. Key Responsibilities Provide remote troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintenance for roadside network devices. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and records. Coordinate with support teams, including managers, supervisors, and technicians, to resolve downtime issues and verify equipment status. Review camera system images and video to ensure proper function and high-quality capture. Manage multiple priorities, including ticket administration, communications, and follow-up. Participate in daily stand-ups, backlog sessions, and planning activities. Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and service delivery. Provide expert work order management from initiation through closure. Work all shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating on-call coverage. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, OR two (2) years of experience in operations, remote troubleshooting, or related technical work. Strong knowledge of computing, networking, and remote system troubleshooting. Experience with data management and interpreting technical data for problem resolution. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Power BI Pro, Visio, and Outlook preferred. Agile Scrum Certification (Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Scrum Fundamentals) preferred. Scripting / programming experience in PowerShell, Visual Basic, or Python preferred. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-availability operational setting. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
