Position Summary

CFI is looking for a Communications Specialist who will help shape and implement CFI's communications strategies and support outreach and engagement through our publications and convenings. This position will play a key role in managing digital channels, supporting event management and operations, as well as creating and disseminating engaging content to drive awareness of CFI publications and research insights.

This position is based in Washington, D.C.

Position Responsibilities

Write and edit communications, including web copy, newsletters, blogs, social media copy, and other collateral to support CFI publications, convenings, and other initiatives

• Create digital graphics and other collateral for CFI's website, events, and speaking engagements
• Manage the production of in-house videos and provide design support for all internal and external presentations
• Collaborate with designers and consultants to ensure content aligns with CFI visual identity
• Ensure management of CFI assets through Sharepoint to ensure all team members have access to updated templates, logos, photography, videos, etc.
• Manage CFI's social media calendar, build promotional toolkits, and design creative content to drive social media engagement
• Manage CFI's website by ensuring all content is up to date; draft website copy, and liaise with developers for enhancements and troubleshooting
• Drive internal project execution and proactively assist with the organization and execution of external events such as the Responsible Finance Forum, Financial Inclusion Week, webinars, workshops and other engagements
• Support with the coordination of virtual and in-person meetings and events, including marketing promotions, speaker coordination, registration, and basic IT support
• Support the Senior Communications Director in managing ongoing projects and executing external and internal communications and strategies
• Regularly monitor, analyze and report on team KPIs and suggest improvements to drive impact.
• Other duties to be assigned as appropriate.
