Essential Functions :

• Analyzes, investigates and adjudicates life and annuity claims to ensure the timely and accurate payment of contract benefits
• Obtains reports, medical records, eligibility, and / or additional information required to investigate and process claims
• Responds to all agents', policyowners', and beneficiaries' written, telephone, and email inquiries regarding benefit information, claims, and appeals
• Collaborates with peers and management to ensure consistent interpretations of policy provisions and claim payment methods

Education & Experience :

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within either of the following : $42,134 - $58,077 or $46,466 - $64,023. A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
