We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Brooklyn, New York. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in delivering technical assistance to faculty, staff, students, and guests, ensuring smooth operation of desktop computers, peripherals, and multimedia tools. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and ready to work flexible hours to meet the evolving needs of our organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide prompt and courteous technical support to users by addressing work tickets from the service desk queue.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of user issues, resolutions, and events within the support ticketing system.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, peripherals, and multimedia equipment.
  • Support the integration and operation of instructional technology tools for classrooms and learning environments.
  • Assist with the deployment and management of software using tools such as Microsoft SCCM and Jamf Pro.
  • Ensure the functionality and security of devices running on Mac OS X, Windows, Android, and iOS platforms.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver timely solutions for hardware and software problems.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of IT equipment to ensure availability and proper functionality.
  • Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide tailored technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in PC desktop and workstation support.
  • Experience with Mac OS X and mobile operating systems such as Android and iOS.
  • Familiarity with software deployment tools like Microsoft SCCM and Jamf Pro.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate organizational needs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse user groups.
  • Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role is preferred.
