Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

About the Role :

In anticipation of future government awards, GiaCare Inc. is now accepting applications for Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) to support Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (FBCH)in Fort Belvoir , Virginia.

Education and Experience :

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program, or completion of military training as a medic, corpsman, or medical technician.
• At least one year of related clinic experience within preceding three years

Certifications :

Duties :

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet use.

Provide age-appropriate care to patients across the lifespan (infant to geriatric).

Assist with positioning, ambulating, transferring, and transporting patients.

Maintain clean work areas and equipment.

Accurately document in EMRs and communicate patient data to charge nurses or physicians.

Report to work physically and mentally fit.
