We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Quality Specialist to join our team. This pivotal role will support Mobius Mobility’s mission by ensuring the company remains compliant with FDA and other relevant requirements, while collaborating with teams across the company to keep processes running smoothly. The Quality Specialist will play a key role in maintaining quality compliance.

As a Quality Specialist, responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Review, close, and file quality records
  • Maintain Approved Supplier List and assist in evaluation of new suppliers
  • Handle quality issues (e.g. nonconforming product) found at incoming inspection or manufacturing, including documentation and communication with suppliers
  • Monitor safety program, including training, maintaining SDS files, and conducting monthly walk-throughs
  • Work collaboratively with personnel throughout the company to ensure quality is maintained
  • Administer the process for approval and distribution of documents (includes internal documents such as OPs and external documents such as marketing materials)
  • Ensure training requirements and materials meet company needs and comply with FDA and accrediting requirements

For new employees, ensure proper content is assigned and training is completed on schedule

  • Ensure personnel are completing required training hours and required annual trainings
  • Conduct training audits as necessary
  • Document corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) and / or assist in closing CAPAs
  • Conduct file audits
  • Perform Final Acceptance Tests (Ability to use an ibot® PMD in stair climbing mode – training to be provided)
  • Perform incoming inspections, as needed
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • To be successful in this role you will need the following :

  • Associate's Degree in STEM-related field or minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong work ethic
  • Strong communication skills, both written and in-person
  • Ability to keep track of and prioritize numerous tasks
  • Current working knowledge of MS Office
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to complete all tasks that require the use of a computer and office equipment
  • Ability to move throughout the building and grounds and communicate with employees, customers and others
  • Ability to move items weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to independently operate the ibot® in stair‑mode, including engaging stair mode and safely climbing and descending stairs
