Consultant / Project Engineer

Location : Memphis, TN

Duration : 6 month contract to hire

We are looking for a versatile Consultant / Project Engineer to support a fast-paced data center project in Memphis, TN . This hands-on role requires a well-rounded, "Swiss army knife" professional who can manage and execute projects end-to-end—from customer interaction to technical delivery on the data hall floor.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage full project lifecycle in a live data center environment

Work directly with clients and internal teams to drive results

Execute tasks on the data hall floor including hardware deployment, cabling, and troubleshooting

Support implementation of automation / scripting efforts as needed

Qualifications :

3–5+ years of experience in a data center or infrastructure engineering role

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on-site

Familiarity with Juniper, Arista, fiber optics, and transceivers is a plus

Scripting or automation experience is a plus

Background in data center engineering is preferred

Flexibility to work non-standard hours including weekends and overtime as needed
