Production Control Analyst

As a Production Control Analyst, you will be the primary contact for manufacturing for all material related needs. You will ensure material is available to manufacturing to support the production schedule from the warehouse, maintain process specs and recipes, release and manage production orders, be responsible for review of MFG issuance of material to production orders, and help in reconciliation of floor stock inventory. You will report to Supervisor of Supply Chain.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week from the office. The role also involves providing support over holidays and weekends, with a rotational schedule of one weekend per month.

Facilitate cycle counts with inventory coordinator and special counts resulting from a data entry error or production problems.

Inform materials manager and production manager of any anticipated problems, while expediting materials from the warehouse or QC.

Utilize MRP and the production schedule to order raw materials and parts from the warehouse to maintain production quotas while analyzing part balances to curb line stoppage.

Work with others to solve all inventory discrepancies, correct minimum and maximum stock levels them in the system, and implement procedures to prevent future problems.

Coordinate with multiple groups to request BOM changes.

Maintain inventory levels needed to support MFG using safety stock controls.

Maintain and solve customer delivery problems due to parts shortages. Support Management of non conforming materials. Identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Collaborate with Tier systems to support manufacturing operations.

BA / BS degree in business, engineering or other related field preferred / not required.

1 or more years of experience in inventory control.

Experience managing multiple commodity areas and tasks.

Materials Planning experience and familiarity with a cGMP environment is required.

Proficient in basic computing (Word, Excel, MRP Systems).

Experience with ERP systems applied to a complex manufacturing and materials environment, firm grasp of planning and purchasing fundamentals.

Project management skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Experience in participating in process and performance improvement initiatives.

Analyze and develop solutions to a variety of problems of diverse scope and complexity.

Work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.

Need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and / or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.

Work in a cold, wet environment.

Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours, as necessary.

Work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.

Weekend support of role may be required as needed and scheduled as needed.

USA - MA - Alewife - BIO OPS

U.S. Base Salary Range : $56,000.00 - $88,000.00

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and / or long-term incentives.
