Position Title : DevOps Manager

Reports To : Director of IT

Position Summary

The DevOps Manager will lead a high-performing team responsible for automation, cloud infrastructure, and CI / CD pipeline management across multiple environments. This role is central to enabling development velocity, improving system reliability, and driving innovation through AI-assisted DevOps practices. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, experienced in AWS and Atlassian toolsets, and skilled at balancing hands-on technical leadership with effective project and people management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps Engineers and Cloud Platform specialists.
• Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of CI / CD pipelines across multiple applications and environments.
• Integrate AI and automation technologies to improve efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and enhance system observability.
• Partner with Application Development, QA, and Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth and secure deployments.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure within AWS, ensuring scalability, cost efficiency, and adherence to security best practices.
• Administer and enhance Atlassian toolsets (Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira, Confluence) to support the full SDLC.
• Define and track operational KPIs, including deployment frequency, lead time for changes, mean time to restore (MTTR), and change failure rate.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support initiatives involving AI-driven monitoring, predictive alerting, and self-healing systems.
• Oversee change management processes and ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and audit standards.
• Lead or contribute to key DevOps and platform projects, ensuring timely delivery, clear communication, and measurable outcomes.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with occasional schedule adjustments for night and weekend work.

Travel

This position will require up to 10% travel.
