Reliability Engineer JLL

What this job involves :

The Reliability Engineer will focus on driving operational excellence by applying efficient technologies and advanced preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to building systems such as HVAC utilities lighting and power. This role aims to reduce operational costs enhance asset reliability and improve return on investment across the facility site. It requires a blend of technical proficiency strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving to optimize system performance and support continuous improvement.

What your day-to-day will look like :

• Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to equipment reliability including planned vs. unplanned work MTBF cost metrics and equipment failure rates.
• Administer Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs such as infrared thermography vibration analysis and oil monitoring. Responsibilities include PM creation data review and corrective action tracking.
• Conduct root cause analyses on equipment and process failures identifying actionable solutions.
• Engage with maintenance teams leadership and clients to understand operational needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Utilize BI tools (Power BI Tableau etc.) to create dashboards and reports that visualize maintenance performance and key metrics.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities inspections and third-party contractor work.
• Assist in developing condition-based strategies for critical assets including AHUs chillers boilers and air compressors to improve uptime and efficiency.
