Staff Accountant (Entry Level)

Position Overview :

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent college graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience, including internships. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a passion for contributing to a collaborative and fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation to support audits and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) to create and maintain financial models and reports.
• Contribute to special projects as needed to support the accounting and finance team.
