Job Description

The School of Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) invites applications and nominations for a full time Nursing Informatics faculty position that will teach across programs.

Candidates with expertise inNursing Informaticsare encouraged to apply. A minimum of a doctorate in nursing or a related field, and completion of a graduate degree in nursing informatics is required. Candidates must hold an unencumbered registered nurse license in the state of Alabama, or be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in Alabama. Rank, tenure, and salary are competitive and commensurate with professional background and experience. Faculty may elect different degrees of emphasis on the teaching, service and scholarship components of the faculty role. This role will be focused with undergraduate / pre-licensure students. This is not a remote position.
