Safely operate a forklift and material-handling equipment to load and unload trailers and straight trucks, following OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910.178) and company safety protocols.Assist dockworkers with loading / unloading freight efficiently and safely.Accurately complete required paperwork in a timely manner to ensure smooth freight flow.Inspect equipment before and after each shift, promptly reporting any defects or safety concerns.Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.Manage dock layout and report equipment repair needs to supervisors.Collaborate daily with coworkers and supervisors to meet operational goals.Complete company-provided training before independently operating any equipment.Comply with all company policies, including those related to workplace safety , harassment prevention , and anti-discrimination in accordance with applicable laws.Perform other duties as assigned by management.
