HiFyve is hiring a Technical Field Service Engineer based in the U.S.
Applicants can live anywhere, must possess a valid passport and TWIC card for domestic and international travel.
Salary : $110 to $130K Annually + OT (non-exempt role)
Schedule : Work Schedule Pending Travel Demands
Location : Based Remotely, Travel across U.S. and Canada
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Supervise and execute installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of rotational and turbo machinery.
- Lead field service teams, up to 20 people, and ensure projects meet safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues, collecting and reporting data to improve performance and reliability.
- Advise customers on operational best practices, maintenance programs, and spare parts planning.
- Perform vibration diagnostics, technical assessments, and customer training.
- Collaborate across teams, including engineering, field service, and aftermarket sales.
Education Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical EngineeringKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
MUST be flexible for travel between U.S. and Canada for up to 90 days at a timeValid Passport or ability to obtain a PassportTWIC Card RequiredMinimum 10+ years hands-on experience with Steam Turbines and CompressorsCustomer Experience Mindset to drive external solutions forwardAdvanced supervisory skills and ability to lead large, complex field projects.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.Ability to train others and lead technical discussions.Experience working with international teams and contractors.
