Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities

POWER Engineers, member of WSP is currently seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to work in the Power Delivery Substations Department in our Syracuse, New York office.

Responsibilities include :

• The position entails performing detailed design of low to extra-high-voltage substations and switchyards.
• Typical designs include one-line diagrams, protection, and control schematic development, wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, substation physical layouts, material lists, conduit, and cable sizing / routing, AC and DC systems calculations and sizing, and substation grounding. The Entry Level Electrical Engineer will participate in QA / QC processes as part of the learning curve.

Base Salary Range : $76,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year

The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(k) match, etc.
