The drivers for the fleet owners are generally out at least three weeks at a time.
This is an over the road position. The driver will sleep in the truck (make sure it is clean inside and out) and be over the road at least 21 days a month to be profitable.
Freight
We haul general commodities including automotive. We do not transport any hazardous materials or temperature control.
This averages to $4k-$8k per month for the truck. Typically,
Drivers must turn in paperwork after each shipment (they can upload directly from the Sylectus Mobile App). Shipments will only be paid out once a clear copy of the signed bill of lading is received.
Any shipments that were completed and paperwork received before midnight on Sunday will be paid that Friday. Standard deductions will start on the 1st Settlement and Sign-On Costs will start on the 2nd Settlement.
Reiterate to driver they will have a pre-employment drug screen and will need a clear MVR and Background Check that is completed.

3,500K to $5,600K average monthly gross to the vehicle

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS
Five (5) years old or newer
Haul between 2,500-3,000 lbs.
A Gross Vehicle Weight Rating less than 10,000 lbs.
Empty Weight when you weigh it at a scale needs to be around 6,000 lbs. or less.
No dually vehicles
Tires must be LT 225 - 265 rated and more than 4 / 32nds tread depth
E-Track freight restraints in the van (Suggested but not required)
2 straps for each skid
A 96 inch Cargo area length
No windows in cargo area preferred, but if you have windows they must be fully tinted or covered.
Valid Empty Weight ticket
Height at the back doors from floor to latch needs to be at least 50 inches
Plywood fastened to the floor of the cargo area (Suggested but not required)
All doors and locks must work properly
No extensive damage to vehicle
Windshield free of cracks
All lights, horn, wipers and washer nozzles are functional
Brakes are functional and have pad life
Van must have a passenger seat
Van can not be leased or rented!!
Deductions
All deductions are settlement deducted weekly. Driver Sign-On Costs ($200) will be taken in $25 payments starting on the 2nd week. Since we pay you directly it will be up to you on what you charge the driver back – please make sure that it is clearly outlined in your contract with the driver.
o Driver Sign-On Cost - $200 (comes out $25 per week)
Includes Background Check, MVR, Pre-Employment Drug Test, and any other documents ran for driver (CDLIS, PSP, and DAC for CDL Holders)
o Safety Equipment – only if you needed to get any equipment from us.

Safety Equipment
We do prefer you to have all of the required safety equipment in your van before you come to orientation. Please make sure it's all out in the cargo area where the shop can see it. If you are missing any safety equipment, the shop will put it in your van and it will get charged back to you. Below is a list of all items you need to have, and how much it would cost if we need to put it in your van.
o Hard Hat - $15
o Triangles – $20
o Fire Extinguisher - $30 (Non-Commercial) and $50 (Commercial)
o Straps - $5 per strap or 4 for $15
o Safety Glasses - $6
o Safety Vest - $5
