About The Position

A great Home Health is looking for an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join their growing team! Requirements (Mandatory) : Must be a certified BCBA in good standing. No new graduates. Minimum of 1 full year of experience as a certified BCBA is required. Must have proven, hands-on experience successfully assessing and treating severe challenging behaviors (aggression, elopement). Must be comfortable and competent working independently in a home-based setting. Must have excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients and families. Must have availability for the core schedule : Monday - Friday, 4 : 00 PM - 8 : 00 PM. Must be legally authorized to work in the US. Preferred Qualifications : Experience with PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) profile is highly preferred. NYC Department of Education (DOE) candidates accepted. Flexibility to work some weekend hours to ensure a guaranteed 30-hour work week. Key Responsibilities : Conduct functional assessments and develop individualized treatment plans (BIPs). Lead and manage all aspects of the cases independently. Conduct parent training sessions to ensure generalization of skills. Potentially provide services in community settings.
