Job Title : General Laborer / Material Handler

Location : Onsite - 93 Dunwoody Court Midway GA 31320

Schedule : Monday Friday 8 : 00 AM 4 : 00 PM (Orientation Day 1 : arrive 8 : 30 AM; safety-shoe voucher provided)

Employment Type : Contractor (resume-based hire; no interview)

Openings : 3 total (1 packing / crating; 2 remnants cleanup / forklift)

Position Summary :

Support production and shipping by packing parts crating with a shop crane staging materials and cleaning / organizing metal remnants. Two roles focus on remnants cleanup using forklifts to move crates; one role focuses on packing / crating including screwing on lids and placing items into crates with a red overhead crane.

Key Responsibilities :

Move and place parts and materials for processing storage and shipment

Pack parts / assemblies; install lids; use overhead / shop crane for safe crating

Load / unload trucks; stage parts in designated areas and lanes

Weigh / remove chips and scrap; keep remnants area organized per direction

Operate forklift to move crates and materials (for remnants roles)

Verify correct part ID and order of operations; label and complete basic move tags

Assist machine operators as requested to keep flow moving

Report equipment or storage issues to the supervisor immediately

Produce simple daily activity / production notes as directed

Maintain a safe clean and organized workstation; follow all company procedures and PPE rules

Qualifications :

High School Diploma or GED

6 months related warehouse / manufacturing experience preferred

Forklift operation experience to OSHA standards (required for remnants roles; willing to certify)

Able to use basic hand tools; comfortable around overhead / shop cranes (training provided)

Reliable detail-oriented and able to follow written / verbal instructions in English

Physical Requirements :

Stand / walk most of shift; frequent bending / squatting for adjustments

Lift carry push and pull up to 50 lbs with proper technique

Work around moving equipment metal parts and typical shop noise

Pre-Employment (as required by site) :

Background check (SSN education employment verification 7-year national / federal / state / county checks OFAC; MVR if role requires driving)

5-panel drug screen (No THC)

Required PPE : steel-toe safety shoes safety glasses
