What You'll Do
Collect, analyze, and present data in a clear, actionable format to support quality improvement initiatives aligned with Total Quality Management and Human-Centered Design principles.Stay current on emerging research and best practices in Quality and Process Improvement through resources such as the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and evaluate opportunities for implementation.Attend the annual NAHQ conference; every three years, assess HNNR projects for potential presentation at the conference or publication in the Journal of Healthcare Quality.Regularly share data insights with HNNR leadership, highlighting trends, implications, and opportunities for improvement. Develop action plans, monitor for accountability, and escalate concerns when necessary.Use frontline experience to inform and facilitate training for leadership teams, focusing on performance measurement and quality improvement.Design and implement tools, job aids, and processes to support accurate data collection and use of quality / outcome measurement tools. Communicate updates and changes effectively to relevant team members.In collaboration with the Leadership and Quality teams, maintain readiness for CARF accreditation and serve as a key facilitator during surveys and ongoing accreditation activities.Work Schedule
Schedule : MondayFriday, 8 : 00 AM5 : 00 PM, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring three days per week on-site. This role also involves regular travel throughout the West Michigan area and Lansing.
Qualifications
Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of healthcare-related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).Minimum 8 years of experience in health or human services.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Quality role and at least 2 years in a leadership position, with demonstrated expertise in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and process improvementpreferably within healthcare or a similarly regulated industry. 3+ years of experience delivering training in healthcare settings preferred.5+ years of experience collaborating with multiple clinical disciplines preferred.5+ years of experience applying data-driven quality improvement initiatives in healthcare, or completion of a micro-credential in Safety & Quality from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement preferred.CPHQ certification (preferred) or in active pursuit of certification through the National Association for Healthcare Quality.Our Commitment to Inclusion
