JOB SUMMARY

Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Senior OpenStack Engineer for a 6M+ contract opportunity that is 100% remote.  The Senior OpenStack Engineer will lead infrastructure transformation initiatives, focusing on VMware-to-OpenStack migration and management of large-scale cloud deployments.

• Architect / Implement VMware-to-OpenStack Migration Workflows – VM Conversion / Network Reconfiguration

Manage / Optimize Large-Scale OpenStack Deployments – Performance / Reliability / Security Focus

Design / Implement Automation Solutions – Ansible / Terraform / OpenStack Heat

Oversee Bare Metal Provisioning – Ironic / MaaS

Cinder Storage Systems – Maintaining / Troubleshooting | Pure Storage Clusters (required)

Implement / Manage Container Technologies Integrated with Our OpenStack Environment

Develop Comprehensive Monitoring Solutions Aligned with SRE Principles

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams – Ensuring Successful Project Delivery

Mentor Junior Team Members / Knowledge Share Organizationally
