RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develop and execute global / regional / local key account strategy (short- / mid and long term) aligned with the business unit.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Key Account team.
  • Deliver sales plans and project pipeline.
  • Optimize sales mix to achieve higher growth and margins.
  • Ensure correct manufacturing footprint and CAPEX investments are made to support focus segment growth.
  • Investigate M&A targets and develop and execute M&A strategy for focus segment.
  • Develop sustainable and long-term relationships with key accounts, negotiate and secure (international / annual) key account contracts.
  • Improve pipeline of projects at international / local key account.
  • Steer joint innovation roadmap with customers and develop unique business model to gain competitive advantage and growth.
  • Drive and roll-out customer approvals and push upstream solution selling.
  • Analyze financial KPIs and proactively steer key account business.

BACKGROUND PROFILE :

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering or related technical field preferred.
  • Experience with structural adhesives, composite materials, and sealants are required.
  • Experience with Aviation / Aerospace Industry materials processing, and part manufacturing is required.
  • Strong focus on strategic planning will be required
  • Previous management and leadership of a team is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are essential – must have excellent customer interaction and communication skills.
  • International travel will be required, with overall expectations of travel to be a minimum of 50%
  • Previous experience in negotiating with Boeing is preferred.
