In this role, you’ll oversee the daily operations of a 6-bed ICF / DD-H group home, providing both hands-on care and leadership to your team. This is a direct care position that combines meaningful client interaction with key administrative responsibilities. You’ll play a vital part in staff training and support, while ensuring all aspects of care—including Active Treatment, Behavior Modification, BEST practices, CPR, and First Aid—are delivered in alignment with each individual’s program and education plans.

To qualify for this position, you will need to obtain a Class B Drivers License and become Med Pass Certified. TERI will provide the necessary preparation and support for you to successfully pass this training. New hires will begin their career at $22.00 / hour until training is completed, and then will be increased to earn $23.00 / hour. This training is expected to take less than 30 days. Your Role & Responsibilities –

• Assist individuals with self-care and activities of daily living.
• Provide appropriate level of support such as making meals, shopping, assist individual with laundry, and maintaining a clean and organized home.
• Participate in staff meetings, progress reviews, in-service training, and other meetings.
• Assist with interventions designed to protect individuals who engage in severe problem behavior and those around them.
• Administer and document client’s medications and provide necessary medical / first aid treatment as indicated by nursing stuff.
• Immediately reports any concerns related to individual’s personal safety, facility safety and effectiveness, program material needs, and personal care / daily living needs.
• Protects individual rights, safety, welfare, and health at all times for those we serve.
