Position Overview

1st Step Healthcare Training is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging EKG Instructor to teach students in our accelerated EKG Technician program. The ideal candidate will be a licensed healthcare professional with proven experience in cardiac monitoring and EKG interpretation. This instructor will guide students in classroom and / or virtual settings to ensure mastery of EKG skills and preparation for certification exams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and / or virtual instruction on EKG procedures, cardiac anatomy, and rhythm interpretation.
• Demonstrate and supervise hands-on EKG practice sessions.
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations, and learning activities in line with program curriculum.
• Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and skill evaluations.
• Provide mentorship, encouragement, and career guidance.
• Ensure compliance with NHA and program standards.
