Part Time Hr / Payroll Specialist
Seeking a part time HR / Payroll Specialist 15-25 hours a week in the Temperance MI area. The HR Specialist will support the human resources department in managing payroll, onboarding new hires, and overseeing benefits management. The ideal candidate must have a strong grasp of ADP / Workday experience to even be considered. Pay up to $31hr. This is a long-term opportunity to work part-time.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Manage and process payroll for approximately 50 employees through ADP / Workday platform.
- Oversee full onboarding process of new hires, including documentation, orientation, and training.
- Administer all employee benefit programs including enrollments and terminations.
- Coordinate health, life, and disability insurance enrollments and communicate with service providers concerning routine administration of programs.
- Ensure all employee records are maintained and updated in the HRIS.
- Maintain and update company directory and other organizational charts.
- Handle employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
- Facilitate HR related workshops when necessary.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in human resources specializing in payroll, onboarding, and benefits administration.Proficiency in ADP software is a must.Keen understanding of labor laws and payroll tax.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills.Discretion dealing with confidential information.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
