Located near Elgin, Illinois, your role as a Technician focuses on building and refining high-speed custom machinery designed for a variety of industries, including life sciences and food and beverages.

Your Mission :

  • Scrutinize machine components and operations, ensuring alignment with control specifications.
  • Equip engineering and manufacturing teams with the technical support necessary for machinery enhancement, documenting all field modifications accurately.
  • Facilitate compatibility testing with client-supplied product samples to guarantee optimal equipment performance.
  • Manage machinery testing for superior quality assurance.
  • Execute machine installations and promptly address service and warranty claims by interfacing directly with clients and representatives.
  • Assist during customer machinery approval processes.

Your Expertise :

  • A minimum of 3 years as a proficient technician or machine builder in automation.
  • Possessing an Associate's Degree, technical credential, or practical experience equivalent.
  • Proficient in AC / DC electrical foundations.
  • Adept at reading intricate 3D models and schematic designs.
  • Experience with machine shop tools such as drill presses and grinders.
  • PLC knowledge, especially ladder logic, is advantageous.
  • Skilled with essential hand tools and precision measurement devices.
