Job Summary :

Provides leadership in a specialized healthcare team and the patient to assure optimal cost-effective drug therapy. This includes developing specific pharmacotherapeutic goals, recommending a regimen and developing a monitoring plan to meet the individualized drug therapy needs of the patient. The clinical pharmacist is responsible for leading efforts in the prevention and reporting of medication errors and adverse drug reactions according to policy and works to continuously improve process and practice in the institution to enhance safety of medication therapy.

Vanderbilt Health is hiring a Clinical Pharmacist that will be an integral member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team providing comprehensive pharmacy services to solid organ transplant patients, with an emphasis on adult kidney and pancreas transplants.

Position Highlights

• Day shift.
• Holiday rotation.
• $15,000 sign on bonus contingent upon starting in the position prior to May 1, 2026.
• Relocation assistance available.
• The sign on bonus is not applicable to current VUMC staff or former staff who have worked for VUMC in the past twelve months. The sign-on bonus is only available for full-time positions.
