JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Location : Boucherville, QC

Role Responsibilities :

  • Accountable for Business Development for independent Healthcare (HC) & Senior Living (SL) customers in the local and surrounding area.
  • Add product lines to existing customers by identifying opportunities and incorporate team selling activities.
  • Develops and delivers sales bids / proposals / presentations and conducts product demonstrations with key decision makers.
  • Executes National Sales Team strategy and collaborates on opportunities to obtain new lines and recover lost lines of business.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve customer account profitability.
  • Manages accurate sales pipeline, consultative activities, and customer contact information in customer relationship management (CRM) tool.
  • Supports quarterly business reviews with local customer headquarters to discuss joint opportunities to grow sales and improve profitability.
  • Ensures customer contract compliance and define action plans to align to master service agreement (MSA) representations.
  • Provides consultative services by providing market trends and insights, identifying integration points with Specialty Companies (Fresh Point, European Imports, SOTF, Buckhead).
  • Engages the Customer Experience Team to escalate all customer issues.
  • Coordinates and leads all activities and resources for targeted accounts and ensures follow-up on all next step agreements.
  • Understands our customers’ business and provides value-added solutions through products, services, tools, and information to help them succeed. Provides education, promotes offerings, and leverages these resources to drive business growth with targeted accounts.
  • Establishes positive working relationships with all departments in the Region.
  • Utilizes CRM tools (Sysco 360) as communication and measurement tool.
  • Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
  • Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their supervisor.
  • Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills / Job Requirements

  • 2 years or more of sales experience required.
  • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in a business-related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • There will be travel required. A valid driver’s license in good standing with access to a vehicle is required.
  • Professional salesperson with proven ability to cultivate relationships and grow sales.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to properly plan and execute business plans.
  • Demonstrated skills in consultative selling, networking and negotiations.
  • Business and restaurant operations acumen to manage sophisticated customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and influence a variety of key stakeholders.
  • Ability to express information in terms of profit and loss, food cost and expense ratio.
  • Persuasive communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with internal and external teams.
  • Demonstrate a high level of business acumen and interpersonal savvy.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to execute multiple initiatives at the same time.
  • Ability to learn the use of proprietary CRM tools for planning and forecasting sales growth.
  • Solid analytical problem-solving skills, including familiarity with analyzing reports and deriving insights from data.
  • Proactive, self-directed, with the ability to structure a weekly schedule to be successful.
  • Bilingual in English and French required

  • Identifie les occasions d’améliorer la rentabilité des comptes clients.
  • Gère l’exactitude du pipeline de ventes, les activités consultatives et les coordonnées des clients dans l’outil de gestion des relations avec la clientèle.
  • Soutient les examens trimestriels d’entreprise avec les sièges sociaux locaux des clients pour discuter des occasions conjointes d’accroître les ventes et d’améliorer la rentabilité.
  • S’assure de la conformité aux contrats avec les clients et définit les plans d’action visant à assurer l’alignement sur le contrat-cadre de service (MSA).
  • Fournit des services consultatifs en partageant des données et des tendances du marché, en identifiant les points d’intégration avec les compagnies de spécialité (Fresh Point, European Imports, SOTF, Buckhead).
  • Collabore avec l’équipe de l’expérience client quand vient le temps de transmettre les problèmes des clients à un échelon supérieur.
  • Coordonne et dirige toutes les activités et ressources pour les comptes ciblés et assure le suivi du bon déroulement de toutes les prochaines étapes.
  • Comprend les activités de nos clients et fournit des solutions à valeur ajoutée à l’aide de produits, de services, d’outils et d’information pour les aider à réussir. Fournit de l'information, fait la promotion des offres et tire parti de ressources pour stimuler la croissance des affaires au sein des comptes ciblés.
  • Établir des relations de travail positives avec tous les services de la région;
  • Utilise l’outil de gestion des relations avec la clientèle (Sysco 360) comme outil de communication et d’évaluation.
  • Se conforme aux procédures et à la politique de Sysco en matière de sécurité alimentaire pour assurer le respect des exigences en matière de qualité, de légalité et de salubrité des aliments.
  • Travaille de façon sécuritaire avec un impact minimal sur l’environnement et comprend l’importance de signaler immédiatement à son superviseur tous les dangers, incidents et déversements nocifs pour l’environnement.
  • Comprend l'importance de sa propre sécurité, de celle de ses collègues, et de signaler les dangers présents.

  • Qualifications / Compétences / Exigences du poste (ce que vous possédez)  :

  • 2 ans ou plus d'expérience en vente requise.
  • Diplôme d’études postsecondaires ou diplôme dans un domaine lié aux affaires; des expériences équivalentes peuvent être considérées.
  • Maîtrise intermédiaire de Microsoft Office, notamment Excel, Word, PowerPoint et Outlook.
  • Des déplacements seront nécessaires. Un permis de conduire valide en règle avec accès à un véhicule est requis
