Summary

TechConnect is seeking a Software Developer for an industry leading client in Tulsa, OK. Our client is looking for an individual that is skilled in software design and development to create applications that enhance the users experience, solve problems, and improve their overall business.

As a Software Developer you will be responsible for developing, designing and implementing quality technology solutions that are scalable and critical to the company’s success. You will focus on all phases of the SDLC and need a solid application development foundation along with a desire to grow. You will write code, create technical specs, communicate with end users / analysts, research user errors, test code, review other developers code changes, and participate in daily stand ups.

To be successful in this role you must have a desire to dive deep into development and create quality applications. You must be able to communicate effectively with internal team members while delivering exceptional support and customer service. You must possess strong organizational abilities and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Fullstack development with unit / automated testing.
  • Participate in the design and implementation for essential applications.
  • Gather user requirements for project specifications.
  • Understand and accurately discuss project architecture.
  • Troubleshoot production issues.
  • Provide documentation for current / new projects.
  • Participate in design and implementation discussions for essential applications.
  • Diagnose and remedy system performance issues.
  • Help automate internal processes.
  • Participate in a technical support on-call rotation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.
  • Energetic and excited to dive in and learn new technologies.
  • High attention to detail (spelling errors, glitches, etc.).
  • Strong documentation and analytical problem solving skills.
  • High integrity and moral standards.
  • Desired – Experience with any financial management systems. Any open invoice, Ariba, or integration experience allowing financial communication, and basic accounting concepts.
  • Self-driven with a “Can Do” attitude.

    • Technology Stack

  • Fullstack Development : C# .NET, SQL, LINQ to SQL, HTML / CSS, JavaScript / Typescript.
  • XML (for interoperability with external systems), XUnit, Plastic SCM.

    • Work Environment

  • Hybrid – Two days in the office (Tuesday / Thursday), 3 days remote (Monday / Wednesday / Friday).   Must be able to work in the office on Tuesday and Thursday.
