We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support our management team. In this pivotal role, you will be the support for our leadership, ensuring smooth operations for our entire team. The daily tasks for this position include : Work directly with the JLF management team to assist with scheduling meetings, firm events, travel, etc. Create and provide reporting on a monthly and ad hoc basis. Assist with printing, faxing, copying, and collating. Assist the Social Committee and HR in arranging and organizing employee appreciation events. Arrange and order lunches for the Charleston office for Lunch and Learns, Attorney Trainings, and other firm-sponsored lunch meeting. Contacting vendors for office work repair needs and assisting in coordinating schedules. Assist in setting up the conference rooms for meetings. Including learning to connect to Zoom and set up laptops and other equipment as needed. Assist with the annual scholarship campaign. Act as the gatekeeper for cold sales calls and charitable contribution requests. Order and maintain promotional items This is a full-time position. Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills : To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Outlook, LawBase and Worldox. Education / Experience : High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
