Job Summary

The Finance Assistant Analyst will be a key member of the Global Business Services (GBS) Control organization, supporting distributor volume reporting for Client . This role focuses on ensuring accurate processing of distributor volume, calculating distributor fees, and identifying and resolving reporting errors. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience collaborating across functions in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

Timely Reporting and Analysis :

  • Receive, process, analyze, and approve distributor volume reports daily. Monitor processing times and error resolution rates to continuously improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Productivity Metrics Monitoring :
  • Track and adhere to team productivity metrics such as volume recovery resolution times and error code resolution targets. Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to enhance performance.
  • Deadline Adherence :
  • Ensure distributor volume recovery processes are completed within strict deadlines. Prioritize tasks based on financial impact and compliance needs.
  • Process Streamlining : Evaluate and optimize workflows related to distributor volume reporting and error resolution. Identify opportunities for automation and reduced manual work.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration :
  • Partner with Finance, IT, Sales, and other departments to ensure alignment and resolve volume reporting issues efficiently.
  • Risk Mitigation Strategies :
  • Develop and implement controls to minimize distributor reporting errors, customer disputes, and compliance issues. Conduct regular risk assessments and make data-driven decisions to mitigate risk.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, finance operations, or reporting roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to assess materiality and risk exposure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas, etc.).
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure.
  • Experience working with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and tight reporting deadlines.
  • Highly organized, responsive, and capable of working in a collaborative environment.

    • Preferred Qualification s

  • 1–3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) at a high proficiency level.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing process automation and improvement initiatives.
  • Prior experience in a matrixed corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with volume recovery, reporting tools, or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
