Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Critical Care required

License : Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

Management of vasoactive medications

Experience with various surgical drains, chest tubes, and ventilators

Proficiency in invasive lines, including arterial lines and PA catheters

Experience with transvenous pacemakers

Management of invasive devices, including IABP and Impella

Description :

The role involves working in a cardiovascular intensive care unit.

It includes caring for patients with serious cardiac conditions.

Common patient types may include those experiencing STEMI, cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, or requiring thoracic surgery.

Nurse-to-patient ratios are expected to be 1 : 2.

Support within the department includes 24 / 7 intensivist availability and respiratory therapy.

Requires the ability to float to other facilities within the region as needed.

The work schedule involves every other weekend rotation.

Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays.

Up to 6 days off can be approved, excluding holidays.

Shifts may start at 0645 or 1845 and are scheduled every 6 weeks.

Scrub color is navy.
