Muir Station Smiles in Martinez, CA is a leading dental practice committed to providing high-quality dental care in a warm and friendly environment. Our team of dedicated professionals is passionate about oral health and patient satisfaction. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing practice.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have a positive attitude, possess strong communication skills, and love working with children.
Schedule
- This is a full-time position
- Monday-Friday (2 Saturdays per month)

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other treatments.Prepare and organize the treatment room, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready and sterile.Take dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with established protocols.Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, medical histories, and progress notes.Ensure compliance with infection control and safety procedures, including sterilization of instruments and proper disposal of hazardous waste.Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment care.Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking dental supplies.Support administrative tasks as neededQualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program is preferred.Current certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant (DA) in CaliforniaCPR and First Aid certification required.Coronal Polishing certificate highly preferredPrevious experience in a dental office setting is a plus but not required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with dental software and practice management systems is a plus.EEO Statement
