Professional Mover

Adecco is currently seeking a physically capable and customer-focused Professional Mover for a local client in Memphis, TN. This temp-to-hire opportunity involves loading, transporting, and unloading household or office items while maintaining a high standard of care and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of verified experience with a moving company, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment. • ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
• Load, transport, and unload furniture, appliances, and various goods. + Wrap, pad, and secure items to prevent damage during transit. + Operate moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and straps. + Deliver courteous, professional customer service at all times. + Work closely with team members to complete moves efficiently and safely. + Assist with basic disassembly and reassembly of furniture. + Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety procedures at all job sites. + Follow all company and client-specific policies and procedures.
• QUALIFICATIONS :
• Must be 18 years or older. + Minimum of 1 year experience working for a professional moving company + Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. + Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic. + Excellent teamwork and communication skills. + Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods. + Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and possible overtime. + Valid driver's license preferred not required. + Must always follow all Safety and Facility rules and regulations.
